Two curling cartoons in honor of Olympic curling

I have not finished watching all of the Olympic women's curling on my DVR, so do not tell me the results. At one point I had 12 hours on there, and I am sure I have watched 24 hours worth, compressed down to 50% to 33% with aggressive skipping (a curling pun if you get it). Partly the reason you can watch three hours of curling in one is because NBC tends to cut about 4 to 8 rocks out of each end, usually the first ones, and fill it with commercials, and then they fill the breaks with commercials. I do have to do some skipping ahead during the early part of the end and through timeouts, because much as I would like to, I do not have the time to watch it all the way through.

Here are some cartoons to keep the Olympic curling fun alive a few more days.

The Greatest Looney Tunes of all times

Cartoon Brew wants your help to pick the 100 greatest Looney Tunes cartoons of all times. Animation historian Jerry Beck is writing a book collecting the 100 best Looney Tunes cartoons and is asking for comments and opinions about what you think the greatest are.

I am partial to the Gremlins one from World war II where Bugs Bunny deals with a gremlin on an airplane. I also liked the Porky in Wackyland cartoon where Porky hunts for the last of the dodoes (I am sure in my youth I saw the colored remake Dough for the Do-Do). There are so many favorites from my youth. Remember Bugs against the opera singer where he plays the tuba for a short bit during the cartoon? Remember the "shoot him now" duck hunting season with Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck?

There is a full list of every title available here. I don't know a tenth of them, and I certainly don't know them by titles. Many classic cartoons from the 30's and 40's can be found at the Internet Archive. Watching all of them and forming an opinion is probably a task for an crazy fan from the internet.

Don't mess with Delaware

I am not sure what Graham Annable thinks of Delaware or how we got picked for the bumper sticker but here is a video short entitled "Don't mess with Delaware".



Unfortunately, I have met the Delawareans depicted, usually farther south below the canal or closer to the Delaware river up on the northern part. In the youtube intro he says, "Never trifle with a state. Any state. Even Delaware."
