I was thinking Shadowfax, Gandalf's horse. I did not see if the driver had a pointy wizard's hat on, but the car was silvery white which goes with the horse color, at least in the movie.

Even though I haven't thought of them in decades, my first thought was Shadowfax the band. But I'm going to go with Shadowfax, Gandalf's horse.
