Mission space games run Windows and crash

One of the games in the Mission Space area at Epcot crashed and needed to be rebooted.

They run windows.

Most wouldn't stay still for photographs, but thus one did. I just had to find the plants they liked. This was taken with my iPhone 5S, surprisingly good!

Learning curling

There was a session for learning curling at the Slating Club of Wilmington last night. It was fun and interesting. Throwing the stone is much harder than it looks. This is a still for a video of the first time I didn't fall down trying it.

It was surprisingly hard for me to push enough to get the stone into the house. I always felt like I was overdoing it but it didn't reach.

I felt I was a little better at sweeping, but you need to be able to do everything on a curling team. There was nice emphasis on how curling is a very polite sport, I liked that. I will admit I have aches in my push off leg and from sweeping, but I would try this again.

Our first tulips of spring

Clever anti-tailgating suggestion?

I did in fact literally laughter out loud when I read this. And was breaking spirit of it when I was too close at the stoplight when I quickly, yet safely took the picture.

You know it is raining a lot when a duck swims across your driveway!

This drake and a female have been visiting the creek behind our house.  Today would be a bad day to for the ducks to swim in the creek with it running so fast and high.  He switched to the street.  Here is a video of him just swimming around.

 

He seems nonplussed by the rain and didn't care when I backed out of the driveway.  He just moved to one side politely.

LED Easter eggs

Wait you mean you didn't empty eggs, color them and then make them electronically enhanced by inserting LED lights in them to make them glow?

These eggs are practically cyborgs and easy to light. Cleaning out the eggs was left to others who are better at it.

Inspired by Lady Liberty

We went to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on Friday. These Legos are inspired by that trip.

Tuning at intermission

I have never seen a piano tuned at intermission during a performance.

The last piece was modern and had quite a lot of banging around. Perhaps that is why? Comments?
