Finally caught video of a White Heron flying around our section of Shellpot Creek north of Wilmington, Delaware. I fell a little bad following it around to get the video because it finally flew onto the roof and then downstream to feed because of me.
Up on the roof of our house.
Hopefully it will come back some day when I am not around to bother it and eat some tasty fish in our section of the creek.

The speed limit on Baynard Blvd between Shipley and Marsh is 30 miles per hour!
I don't even know how you can get going fast enough on Baynard Blvd to be unable to avoid a deer let alone kill it when you are unfortunate enough to hit it. The speed limit is 30 miles per hour.
In a separate incident a car skidded and crashed into the guardrail on the bridge over Shellpot Creek on Baynard Blvd. You can see the skidmarks coming out of the crash on the other side as well.
The real irony is that you can see the 30 mile per hour speed limit sign right at the accident spot. Lynn heard the crash after I had left at 5am for a business trip Wednesday two weeks ago and ran out hoping it wasn't me. She only saw a car's bumper left behind that was subsequently removed.
