In which the author ponders the question, "If you admit that you are a hypocrite, are you really a hypocrite?" He then provides his honest commentary on a number of fascinating topics. He insists, however, that his readers form their own opinions.

Rabbit eating my plants?
This might be the bunny rabbit that has been eating the strawberry leaves, and other ornamental plants. We would be lucky if it was only one.

Tigers vs Orioles discussion last night
There was a bench clearing discussion last night after the Orioles' Bud Norris beaned the Tigers' Torii Hunter. Norris had just given up a two run homer to Ian Kinsler.
Hunter said something to Norris, but it was Norris who was ejected from the game. I am always reminded of the book, The Baseball Codes: Beanballs, Sign Stealing, and Bench-Clearing Brawls: The Unwritten Rules of America's Pastime by Jason Turbow and Michael Duca, when these things happen. Obe of the rules is you can bean the next guy if you a pissed you gave up a homer. I didn't see Kinsler celebrate inappropriately so I think it wasn't justified.

Some surviving Tulips
The tulip marauder has struck again. Decapitated tulips with no apparent cause.
Luckily we have some surviving ones on the other side of the walkway.
This lone fancy purplish one is a favorite.
Zork wine stopper
Picked this Chardonnay specifically because it had this unique stopper called a Zork.
I just pealed away the plastic to reveal a plastic stopper that can be reclosed. The stopper might be the best part. There was a hissing when I opened it completely.
However the wine was not good. Too sweet and dark for a Chardonnay, almost like a corked taste. It will be used for cooking maybe. Cool top, bad wine.

Daffodils
Spring has arrived in full force, and so have the daffodils. These are my neighbors. I love the dark center and light outer petals.
These frilly ones are also next door.
Here are some of my own daffodils.
