Ambien's new victim

First there was sleep-walking, then sleep-eating as some people who took Ambien awoke to find food wrappers and crumbs in their bed. Now Ambien is causing sleep political-scandal-causing as Rep. Patrick Kennedy drove into a security barrier near the Capitol but was let off by Capitol police even while he appeared to be under the influence. They actually drive him home. He claims he had been taking Ambien and that was what made him groggy.

Outside of the beltway DUI (driving under the influence) doesn't just refer to alcohol. You can't (and shouldn't) drive if you're are intoxicated by any substance, even legal over the counter antihistamines or sleeping pills.

Thanks Bro!

I'm getting sick of living in a world where anything we do is always the fault of someone or something else.

Will someone PLEASE take responsibility for their own actions!

P.S. This may also have something to do with the fact that I get my paycheck from the company that makes Ambien (hee, hee)
